KNUPPEL-SAWREY and MEEKER-CALLAWAY
I am developing this for my desendants to get a better understanding of those that came before them. The research is as far back as I can go. Someday, maybe someone can break down the brick walls and find more information.
It is my hope that my children, grandchildren and future generations take up this research and add pertinent information that takes place in the family. One thing that is certain is the fact that my work will not be 100% accurate even though I have tried to verify all of the information that came before me. Someday it will be corrected.
With that stated, let me begin. This is written by Tom Knuppel and is about my family and that of my wife, Linda Meeker. I will start with some present day (for me) information and then jump to the end and/or the oldest generation I could find and work back to the present.
Thomas (Tom) was born on January 1, 1951 to Paul John Henry Knuppel and Sarah Elizabeth (Sawrey) Knuppel in Proctor Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. He is the youngest of six children.
Linda was born on August 15, 1952 to Paul Burton Meeker and Donna Lee (Callaway) Meeker in Pekin Hospital in Pekin, Illinois. She was the eldest of seven children.
Thomas Lee Knuppel married Linda Lee Meeker on October 6, 1973 at Forest City Community Church in Forest City, Illinois by the Reverend James Welsh. They had four children.
