Baseball Hardball-  Best Five Pitchers to This point of season

Three of the top five starting pitchers in 2025 are left-handers. Let’s give their name and some stats in no particular order.

Lefty Jamie Arnold is a  junior and is dominating his opponents . He has a rangy body and a loose, whippy arm.

The Volunteers look for Liam Doyle to solidify their rotation in Knoxville.
Although only  junior, his strikeout to walk ratio is ridiculously good. Top 5 draftee.

LSU Sophomore lefty finds Kade Anderson just a small tick under the other two but mighty good. Another season might bring a top draft prospect for him.

Moving to a pair of right-handers we find junior Kyson Witherspoon of Oklahoma looking to be in the top ten mix of the MLB Draft.

Grad student Jake Knapp of UNC has opened some eyes after winning a match-up over Florid with Arnold on the mound. He has been exceedingly good this season.

Baseball Hardball will return weekly. In the next issue is the top catchers in college baseball along with top first baseman .
